Counselling helps relieve the mind of worries and tension. Through our counselling sessions, we aim to reduce stress levels, especially during examinations, and prepare students to face the challenges of life both within and beyond school. We focus on the mental well-being of each child, ensuring they remain happy, confident, and well balanced.
We also conduct special classes on ‘Life Skills’. Led by experienced counsellors who have worked extensively with children, these sessions address a wide range of issues relevant to teenagers and life in a boarding school. Both interactive and informative, they greatly benefit our students by providing a safe space to express themselves freely while also instilling important values. The emotional upheavals and uncertainties of adolescence, along with everyday concerns, are handled with sensitivity and care.
American author Napoleon Hill rightly remarked, “No one can succeed in a line of endeavour which she does not like,” and this holds true. A student needs to be on the right career path, supported by an appropriate set of skills, to truly flourish. However, deciding on a career can be a daunting task, especially for young teenagers who are faced with numerous options and are often influenced by unsolicited and sometimes misleading advice.
The most reliable guidance for a young student can be found within her school. Secondary school plays a significant role in shaping her future, as many aspects of her life are closely connected to it. It is here that her personality and outlook towards life begin to evolve, her social skills develop, and her knowledge base expands.
At Mody School, we provide effective career guidance to help each student choose a path suited to her interests and strengths. We conduct special study counselling and career counselling sessions led by experts, senior faculty from other institutions, and trained counsellors. We also organise talks by resource persons from diverse fields such as Defence Services, engineering and medical institutions, management, chartered accountancy firms, and universities.
