On account of the World Mental Health day, Mody University conducted a very vibrant workshop. Dr. Meel enlightened the students with his knowledge about mental health and how it ties in with our physical health, keeping our body strong and fit. Further he also elaborated the importance of being mentally fit, all while busting the usual myths and stigmas related to mental health disorders. His talk concluded with a Q&A session where he talked about the importance of communication as well as helping people out by merely listening to them. The event proceeded with a song and dance performance clubbed with a mime. The event was meticulously executed by the college students, accompanied by a feedback session.

The last activity included a poster making competition related to ‘mental health awareness’. Eleventh grade students from Mody School participated and contributed their fair share with great enthusiasm. All in all it was a very informative and enlightening experience for all.
