Mody School organised a function to formally bid farewell to the outgoing batch of session 2020-2021 at a Virtual Valedictory Ceremony on Monday, 26 July 2020 from 11 am onwards.

Ms. Nishi Rana, Principal, Mody School, began the proceedings by lighting the ceremonial lamp. She went on to bestow ‘deeksha’ or blessings on the girls in the manner of the ancient traditions of our culture.

Students presented the Ganesh Stuti and the School Theme song which kindled memories of School life in our soon-to-be-alumni. This was followed by a virtual tour of the campus.

The largest chunk of the event was given to the reading out of citations for all 183 students of the batch. The teachers offered their good wishes and benediction to the girls, praying for  success and happiness in their lives. Almost 125 students attended the occasion and were filled with a strong feeling of nostalgia for their alma mater.

“The virtual valedictory was a waking dream wish fulfilment for us, the Batch of 2021.

Thank you for organizing it so well,”  said Kothapalli Vineela, a student of Humanities. Rashi Bagaria of the same class had similar feelings to share. “Heartfelt gratitude for the organizing team and the Management for coordinating the event. It meant a lot to us.”

The rendition of the National Song brought the curtains down on this virtual function, which was the first of its kind in the 35 year old history of the School.
