Finally the most awaited day had come when, students of classes III to VIII tied their seat belts to visit the magnificent ‘KINGDOM OF DREAMS’ at Gurgaon in Haryana. A group of 164 students escorted by teachers in charge departed from Mody School on 22nd August’17 at 5:30 a.m. by A.C buses, looking forward to flying to our destination as early as possible.
Singing and dancing in the buses we all awaited the first stoppage that was ‘Tirupati Hotel’ to have breakfast. At 8:30a.m. we reached the hotel and satisfied our appetite with a variety of dishes. The rite of music and dance restarted as we boarded the buses again .At 12:45 p.m. we entered Gurgaon and with this we held our breaths to witness the world of dreams. Sharp at 1:00 p.m. we were in the ‘KINGDOM OF DREAMS’ and couldn’t believe our eyes as we gazed at the artificial but real blue sky in which cloud were floating. At the entrance Bhangra boys were performing Bhangra, listening to the foot tapping music we couldn’t stop ourselves and joined them. We enjoyed a variety of national and international cuisine and shopping too!
At 2:00 p.m. we entered into an amazing theatre wherein we witnessed live performance on Indian folk dances, which was beyond Bollywood and indeed mesmerized every one of us. The performance by various artists has left an indelible imprint on our minds, which would be cherished forever. Then it was the time to say adieu to KOD as we were all set to return and finally we had a group photograph to freeze the kingdom in our hearts. We departed from there at 5 p.m. and on the way back to Lakshmangarh,
enjoyed our dinner at Mc Donalds.
Everyone had a gala time enjoying at KOD and wished to revisit soon!
