On 24th October 2020, Mody School celebrated Navratri and Dussehra festival with great zeal, enthusiasm and spiritualism to commemorate and invoke the blessings of Goddess Durga in her various forms.

On this religious occasion of Navratri and Dussehra, the students presented the assembly online through Google meet on the theme VICTORY OF GOOD OVER EVIL. The tiny tots of our school attired in traditional dresses of all the nine Goddesses and told the importance of the nine forms of Goddess Durga through awesome role-plays with different avatars of Goddess Durga and explained how Navratri celebration symbolizes victory over evil.

Students also told the importance of nine days of Navratri through storytelling, PPT, bhajans, poster making and GK quiz. The splendid celebration of Navratri concluded with the graceful Garba Dance. The positivity and energy exuberating out of the colourful costumes combined with the enthusiasm of dancing to the dandiya folk songs made the special assembly more successful and fruitful. The students also highlighted the importance of these festivals in today’s world. This auspicious day reminds people of the fact that truth always wins and motivates them to follow the path of Dharma. The event was a learning experience for all of us and enriched us about our rich Indian culture and values.

We wish all our students and their loved ones a very Happy and Prosperous Festive Season!!!
