Stories always give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of the physical world. While competitions are the best way to boost the confidence and enhances speaking skills in children, keeping this in mind, a Moral storytelling competition was conducted by Ms Meenu Soni  via Google meet for Grade IV to VII on 30th June 2021. The young, vibrant storytellers came forth with beautiful stories, which reinforced Moral values. The stories were adjudged based on expression, confidence and diction and presentation skills of the children. Children narrated stories like, ‘A little mermaid’, ‘Count wisely’, ‘Miles to go’ , ‘A precious gift’ etc. All the students were dressed up as characters and presented their stories with facial expressions and voice modulation. To captivate the audience’s attention, the little narrators of Mody Girls’ School used props like finger puppets, hand puppets, flashcards, PPT with background story etc. Every story was narrated with a moral. The oratory and presentation skills of little kids were outstanding. Three students from each house – Gargi, Kasturba, Leelawati and Sarojini were selected and performed in the competition. They captivated the attention of the audience and the little storytellers won everyone’s heart and were applauded.
