The Mody School Service Project, PRAYAAS-2.0, 2019, got under way today under the combined aegis of the School’s Round Square and IAYP programmes. Principal, Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior, Nishi Misra was the Chief Guest at the opening ceremony and lit the ceremonial lamp to initiate proceedings. Principal, Nishi Rana and other senior faculty members were an integral part of the function. Delegates from 11 prestigious schools, including the hosts, are participating in the event. After a colourful cultural extravaganza, the Chief Guest was invited to formally declare the Project open. The Flag-bearing ceremony brought all School representatives on to the stage for the customary recitation of the special prayer. The address of the Chief Guest was the highlight of the ceremony wherein she enumerated the true meaning of providing assistance to under-privileged sections of the community. Through a video presentation, the audience was informed of the stellar service that her school management and children are engaged in by helping women understand the importance of personal hygiene and sanitation.
