Mody School and Mody University celebrated the 79th Independence Day with patriotic fervour. Chief Guest Major General Vikram Joshi hoisted the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem sung with heartfelt pride. He was warmly welcomed by Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Bhardwaj, President,Mody Institute and Dr. Deepika Sood, Vice Principal,Mody School.
A grand parade featured contingents from the Mody School Student Council, Mody University Student Council, horse riders,House parade, brass band and the pipe band, alongside a vibrant cultural showcase. The house parade was judged by devoted Mody Institute members — Lt. Colonel M. L. Sharma, GM Administration; Colonel Shriram Kilania, Consultant Engineer; and Captain Vijay Jakhar, ASO. Kasturba House and Leelawati House together claimed the March Past honours.
Commending the discipline and spirit of the students, the Chief Guest, Major General Vikram Joshi, urged young learners to serve the nation with dedication.
The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Head Girl, Ms. Narayani Arora, followed by the distribution of sweets to all.
