The 73rd Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervour on Mody Campus. Shri Ashok Kumar Vyas, RHJS former District and Sessions Court Judge, Jaipur and the present Chairman, District Permanent Lok Adalat, Sikar presided as the chief guest at the function and hoisted the Tri colour.
The celebration began with an excellently synchronised parade which was a majestic display by the student body of MEF which included the horse riders, the pipe band and the brass band of the school. The cultural program included a plethora of activities like patriotic songs, dances, skating and speeches. The chief guest appreciated the discipline and commitment of the students for the top class show that they had put up defeating the rainy weather. 
The celebration culminated with the presentation of a memento to the chief guest by Mody School Principal Ms. Nishi Rana and the announcement of the winners of the Inter house March past competition where Gargi House was declared the first runner up and Kasturba House stood first. Kitanjali Singh, Head Girl Mody School proposed the vote of thanks.
