Mody Institute, Lakshmangarh held its ’Annual Sports Day‘ with great zeal and excitement on the sprawling sports arena of the Institute.The event commenced with the felicitation of the venerable Chief Guest Ms. Kunjarani Devi, the celebrated weightlifting champion and recipient of the Arjuna award and the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award. Founder and Chairman, Board of Governors, Sri Rajendra Prasad ji Mody, Chairman Management Council, Shri S.S Bhuwaniaji and all Division Heads of Mody University were present on the occasion. The Chief Guest lit the ceremonial torch and declared the Meet open.The event began with an excellently synchronized parade a majestic display by the student body of MEF which included the four Houses of the school , Horse riders,the Pipe band , and the Brass band . The day was replete with a variety of events such as yoga,Mass P.T, Hula Hoops, Drill , along with extraordinary Karate and Gatka performances .There were exciting 100 meters and relay races. The parents also participated in interesting races with a lot of sporting spirit.

Ms. Kunjarani Devi addressed the gathering and distributed the prizes to the winners. Saniya Qureshi under 14 and Sakshi Bihani under1 7 grabbed the Players of the year 2019-2020 award. The Sports Trophy and the Overall Championship Trophy was bagged by GARGI HOUSE .Dr .V.K.Jain and Dean School of Business presented a token of appreciation to Ms. Kunjarani Devi. The school ground rimmed with flags and balloons reverberating with the sound of cheers made everyone’s day. The event culminated with the vote of thanks proposed by the Sports Captain, Ms. Siddhi Pankaj. The National Anthem brought the curtain down on a colourful and dazzling display of fun and fitness.
