The traditional installation and swearing- in of the new students’ council for the session 2019-20 took place in Auditorium Swami Haridas Sabhagar on 16th July 2019. The day became all the more auspicious with the combined celebration of Guru Purnima. This propitious day commenced with traditional lamp lighting done by Madam Principal Nishi Rana, Senior Coordinator Beena Singh Shekhawat and Senior School Incharge Chagan Samour. The tribute to Maa Sarswati was offered by the rendition of school theme song.
Many assiduous students were elected and given badges for various academics, sports and house posts. Some significant post allotted were: Ms. Keetanjali Singh of Class XII was declared as the proud Head Girl of the School, Ms. Jhilmil took the honour of being the Asst. Head Girl, the badge of Academic Senior Prefect was given to Ms. Khushi Anupriya Dudi, the post of Senior Discipline Incharge was allotted to Ms. Jannat Bhullar, Ms. Shristi Tiwari was honoured with badge of Cultural Head. Ms. Sidhhhi Pankaj and Ms. Tripti Narayan received the badge of Sports Captain and Sports Vice Captain respectively. Ms. Nidhi Sharma from Gargi House, Ms. Sarika Beniwal from Kasturba House, Ms. Amisha Lahoni from Leelawati House and Ms. Riddhi Dokania from Sarojini House were given the badge of House Captain.
Madam Rana, Principal Mody School made the new students’ council take the ceremonial pledge to perform their duties with honesty and dedication.
Investiture ceremony was followed by Guru Purnima celebration. Head Girl Ms. Keetanjali Singh offered her sincere gratitude to Principal, Mody School by felicitating her with a token of remembrance. Entire Mody School staff was felicitated and entertained with beautiful rendition of songs and Dohas. The celebration culminated with the vote of thanks delivered by Cultural Head Ms. Shristi Tiwari.
