Is it possible to cook without fire? “Yes very much possible!” said the students of Mody School, Lakshmangarh.

Students of Classes IV to VII of Mody School, donned their ‘chef caps’ to exhibit their culinary skills in the “cooking without fire” activity held on 17th June 2021. The competition was conducted to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without flame, the necessity and advantages of healthy eating.

Through this activity the students have learnt culinary skills, appreciating the hard work put into cooking. The aim of the activity was also to provide a platform for students to showcase their talent and explore new areas of interest. Students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm as they doled out their nutritious yet delicious food items.

The students prepared healthy dishes like Coconut Sweets, Veg. Pops, Bhelpuri, Choco Coffee Fudge, Almond chocolate balls and many more using easy and quick recipes. They served the dishes artistically and aesthetically which was most appealing and the display was a visual treat tickling to the taste buds.

The judges for the day were Ms. Sneha Sharma and Ms. Usha Rani who judged based on presentation, cleanliness and nutrition.

It was an interactive activity session. The event not only provided a platform for the students to foster their creativity and decision-making skills but also helped them explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest.
