Mody School successfully hosted a two-day CBSE Capacity Building Workshop on “Strengthening Assessment and Evaluation Practices,”from 12 June to13 June 2025, engaging educators from across institutions in collaborative learning and reflection.

Expertly facilitated by CBSE resource persons Ms. Narottama Sharma (Birla School, Pilani) and Mr. Prateek Arora (Mayoor School, Jaipur), the sessions offered valuable insights into assessment reforms aligned with NEP 2020—covering formative and summative strategies, rubric-based grading, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and portfolio assessment.

Interactive group tasks and real classroom scenarios kept the sessions practical and engaging. A refreshing morning meditation and a friendly campus tour added warmth and connection to the academic proceedings.

Highlights included discussions on NSQF, vocational education, Bagless Days, arts-integrated learning, and SEWA , reinforcing the importance of holistic, skill-based education.

With Ms. Sharma’s motivating calm and Mr. Arora’s engaging humour, the workshop struck the perfect balance of depth and delight.

The event concluded with Principal Ms. Charu Sharma presenting tokens of appreciation and extending heartfelt thanks. Participants left with renewed motivation and concrete tools to strengthen assessment in their classrooms.
