“Teen Beans”: Lecture on Adolescent’s Nutrition
In an attempt to inform the students of the nutrition requirement of growing teenagers, the resident doctor of Mody School, Dr. Nirmaljit Kaur took an interactive session with Class VIII students on 12th December. The students were taught about nutritional imbalance and how inadequacy of essential nutrients can lead to ailments like Anaemia and fatigue. Some light was also thrown on obesity, diabetes and their harmful consequences on today’s youth. The pupils showed interest and curiosity by asking questions in the concluding session.
