"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.
Neither talent nor genius.
Persistence and determination are omnipotent.
The slogan 'press on' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."
These famous lines attributed in the programme of a memorial service for Calvin Coolidge forms the gist of what we at Mody School believe in.
Imparting education is a noble task. The duty of a teacher lies in polishing the skill of an individual which are bestowed on her by the Almighty. The lessons to be taught are those of perseverance and self discipline.
In today’s changing and dynamic world, the role of educators in shaping the lives of future citizens, has assumed vast proportions.
The purpose of education is not confined to learning new things anymore; it is unlearning many old things also which matters.
If a person is taught to keep on trying with confidence in one’s own abilities, then no goal or dream seems far-fetched.
It is my conviction that hard work coupled with determination and self confidence can over-ride any talent or genius.
