Computer Learning
In the spacious and modern computer lab each students has an exclusive system to operate. It has the most updated multi media technology where computer aided Learning (CAL) Computer Aided Training (CAT) and Computer Aided Experience (CAX) are an essential part of e-learning programmes.
Fashion Studies
Realising the wide scope of fashion designing as a professional career, the CBSE has introduced fashion studies at 10+2 level. The course aims to introduce the students to the world of fashion through the fundamental of fashion design. Mody School has a well-equipped lab including sewing machine and mannequins to facilitate the learning process for its students.
Home science
Home science is an integral part of the curriculum. The girls are given extensive information on such varied subjects as human development, family, resource management, textiles and clothing besides being taught culinary skills in a lab that boasts of cooking ranges, sewing machines and other material. These provide ample opportunities for the students to acquire skills during the course of their practical work.
Fine arts
Mody school offers a comprehensive Art Theory program which include a wide range of courses appropriate to the interdisciplinary studio choices in two dimensional studies comprising of painting, drawing and printmaking and three dimensional studies in sculpture, ceramics, pottery and photo-media. We have an excellent workshop and highly skilled academic and technical staff to assist in all aspects of art making. Our courses also provide training for a range of art related vocation.
Children's Park
A Children’s Park with swing, slides and merry-go-rounds is the perfect way to healthy recreation for our girls. Playing together in this ambience leads to growth of such qualities as cooperation, understanding and mutual respect.
Hostel
The hostels are designed as a place for students to live and learn to adjusts to the educational demands, while encouraging them to develop a healthy social network. Each hostel is under the care of a resident lady warden who maintains the academic, medical and personal progress of her wards. She also acts as an able counselor, guide and administrator.
Dairy
The institute runs its own Dairy that provides wholesome cow milk to ensure sound health and physique of our students. Milk is served daily early in the morning with breakfast and at night.
Stable
The institute has a stable of almost 65 highly trained and pure breed horses and offers its students the wonderful opportunity to become expert horse riders. Specialist trainers and syce ensure that animal remain in peak health and condition. Equestrian training is imparted regularly to the girls under the guidance and supervision of riding masters.
Cafeteria
A cafeteria par excellence serves light refreshments, ice-cream and beverages. Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine is available to suit all palates. Visitors to the cafeteria enjoy the foot-tapping music broadcast on World Space Radio at all times.
Dining Hall
The dining hall at MIER is unmatched by any such facility in India. It is a marvel of architectural grandeur. Spacious and well-ventilated it can seat 1800 diners at a time. Well planned, appetizing, and nutritious vegetarian meals prepared under strict hygienic condition are served to students.
Wardens and staff members dine along with the girls and supervise their eating habits, thus inculcating and promoting table manners and mess etiquette.
Special diet is also provided on medical advice.
