Library
Our library occupies a central position in our scheme of things as it paves way to good communication skills which is a sine qua non in today's global world. Developing better speakers and writers by cultivating reading habit in our students is one of the most important objectives. Therefore, we invest heavily in library facilities.

Our library is spacious with a seating capacity of 50 students. We have about 8000 volumes of books and a good collection of CD-ROMs and DVDs for varied age-groups. We subscribe to periodicals and magazines - local, national and international. Moreover, it is equipped with a computerized data-base which enables students to access the required books quickly. Every class has a library period incorporated into their time-table. Books are issued to the students and the staff members throughout the year.

IT Lab
Mody School integrates information and communication technology into the curriculum, and thus provides the latest resources in this field. The school's computer and communication network provides state-of-the-art computing facilities with 24/7 broadband Internet connectivity. The three IT Labs divided into junior and senior sections are equipped with more than 200 computers, printing, imaging and multimedia solutions to assist students in projects and research assignments with full time monitoring and guidance. The students have unlimited but monitored access to computers and the professional software tools. Working in the computer labs sharpen the analytical skills of students as they discover the structures underlying software, stretch their creative talents as they design new concepts which give them the confidence to bring out the ideas pertaining to the abstract world.

e-Learning

Most importantly, while adhering to the global standards that Mody is committed to, the “e-learning system” has been incorporated as an integral part of the school’s learning system. For this, there are “smart boards” with “e-content” provided in each classroom.

Project Based Learning

In the 21st century, the challenge is to create engaging classrooms that provide an environment for integrated learning. Concepts are best understood when they have a context that students can relate to. In a scenario where schools are alienated from the very community that demands their contribution, project-based learning helps students touch base with real-life. Incorporating the essential elements of hands- on work, it aims to develop life-skills.

Project-based learning is an experiential method of instruction that engages students in group oriented projects, providing active instruction in an interdisciplinary array of skills, including mathematics, technology, language arts, fine arts, geography, history and science.
